Custom Action Button

Checking on the "Custom Action" button and clicking on options will reveal a new dialog box where custom options for the application can be set.


Clicking on the "Custom Action" button will reveal an "Options" button on the right side.

The new dialog box will appear as the below screenshot depicts.


This new window will appear offering custom button action to the user.

The new options available with custom action buttons are described as follows: 

Change Record Status

Enabling this option for your application will change the status of a record on the Data tab of the SpreadsheetWEB Control Panel to one of the values between 1 and 10. The Status ID will be read from a cell in the workbook. If the status ID in the reference cell is not valid, then Change Record Status will not occur. This checkbox will only be enabled if there is a Save button in the application. 

Transfer Record Ownership

Enabling this option for your application will change the ownership of a record to a user at the SpreadsheetWEB Control Panel. The user information can only be a username and has to be defined in the Spreadsheet WEB Control Panel. The username will be read from a cell in the workbook. If the username in the reference cell is not valid, then Transfer Record Ownership will not occur. This checkbox will only be enabled if there is a Save button in the application.

Print

This option will print the web page via the browser's printing functionality. 

Template Library

The template library contains pre-installed Excel files that can be turned into web applications. Select from a large library of templates matching your specific need. Simply modify the template with your own data and turn it into a web application in minutes. The template library is accessible from the SpreadsheetWEB ribbon in Excel. Please see the screenshot below.
