Next to each workbook in your workspace you will see several icons indicating type of access privileges you have.


Access privileges to a workbook can only be assigned by its owner. Following is a list of access types that a workbook can be associated with

Owned Workbook.
It indicates that this workbook is owned by you. Hence you have full access privileges to this workbook.
Public Workbook.
A public workbook can be owned by you or someone else. If owned by someone else, there will be another indicating whether you have Read or Write access
Read-only Access.
Indicates that the workbook is owned by someone else and you are given read-only access.
Write Access.
Indicates that the workbook is owned by someone else and you are given write access. Write access only allows you to edit the workbook. You cannot delete or rename it.
