Creating a Line Chart

To begin creating a bar chart, select the "Line" option from the SpreadsheetLIVE charting menu. On the right of the chart selection area, you will find varying visual options for the line chart. Selecting one of these options will make your column chart appear in a similar manner as it appears in the thumbnail (e.g. the 3D two color chart will ultimately appear as a 3D chart with two colors).

After selecting the desired type of bar chart, press the ">>" button in the bottom left-hand corner.

Image 2 - Step 2/3 in the Charting Wizard.

You will be presented with the screen shown above. From here, you simply select the range of data that you would like represented in the chart. You can then select whether the data is read in columns or in rows (e.g. as shown, the type of animal will fit on the X-axis and the quantity would be on the Y-axis, if 'Rows' is selected, it would be the opposite).

Image 3 - Step 3/3 in the Charting Wizard.

You can then select then define the chart title, x-axis label, y-axis label and the legend. The legend can be turned on or off (i.e. select 'None' if no legend is necessary). The placement of the legend can be set as either the top, bottom, right, left or corner of the graph.

Once you are finished, press 'Done'. The chart will be created within the SpreadsheetLIVE worksheet.
