Add a Row or Column
To add a row or column, simply right-click the label of the row or column next to which you would like create the addition and select either the 'Insert Row' or the 'Insert Column' option, depending on which you would like to add (i.e. if you would like to add a row under Row 1, right-click the '1' button in the row labels and select 'Insert Row').

Alternatively, select 'Row' or 'Column' from the 'Insert' menu depending on which one you would like to insert.

Delete a Row or Column
To delete a row or column, simply right-click the label of the row or column that you would like to delete and select either the 'Delete Row' or the 'Delete Column' option, depending on which you would like to delete (i.e. if you would like to delete Row 1, right click the '1' button in the row labels and select 'Delete Row').

Alternatively, you can select 'Row' or 'Column' from the 'Delete' options under the 'Edit' menu, depending on which one you would like to delete.
